ideasnw250Lancashire-based innovation organisation Ideas North West is hosting its fifth annual North West Inventors' Expo sponsored by No Limits at Turf Moor Enterprise Haven on Saturday 20th March.

The event follows on from last year's success when more than 200 inventors and members of the public packed into the Expo. Visitors came from around the region including Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Blackburn - and as far North as Cumbria.

There will be local inventors showcasing their ideas, selected supporters' stands including rapid prototyping, tooling and manufacturing services; free patent search clinics; and, representatives from the Patent Office. There will also be a chance to have free consultations with patent agents, solicitors and government grants advisors. Successful local inventors will also be attending to inspire and share their knowledge.

Ideas North West Chairman Basil Phillipsz said,

"The North West Inventors' Expo continues to be a one of the region's most dynamic and best-supported events for innovators. If you have an idea and want to exploit it you need to be at this Expo. We have a whole host of legal, logistical and business experts offering free advice - the kind of advice you would otherwise potentially pay thousands of pounds for.

And there is also the opportunity to network and be inspired by inventors who have already brought products to market. The North West Innovation community is a thriving and self-supportive group - and the Expo is when you see this community spirit at its best."
