ideas21 is delighted to announce that we are expanding our free Intellectual Property Clinics in 2009 with advice sessions now to be held monthly at the Bristol Central Library and as part of their 'Our City: Ambitious Together theme - supporting the growth of an enterprise culture'.

It is important that individuals and small businesses developing innovative products can protect themselves from copyists and imitators. Intellectual Property rights, such as patents, trade marks and registered designs, can provide this protection.

ideas21 member, Lewis Hands, principal attorney at Handsome IP, has kindly offered his services in running these sessions for us. Lewis is a registered European Patent Attorney, a Chartered UK Patent Attorney and a European Trade Mark and Design Attorney. He is a member of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office and a member of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys.
